that's a no-no!

...Not a song as such - more 'tongue in cheek' reminiscing about growing up in my hometown of Clydebank. From feeding ducks with the heel of a plain loaf to 'scrambles' and mother throwing you money out the kitchen window for ice-cream and various other observations.

...We have many 'summer of summers' throughout our lives. Summers that made us smile, summers that made us cry.... and this summer learning to play the saxophone so I could play it on here.... This summer I smiled and cried!

...this has been rattling in my brain for a couple of months now. Yet another excuse to use my old mentor Richard Fordhams vocal meanderings ....I just love his voice. To the unwashed, my vocals are a little 'homage' to Mr Gordon Bell, that infamous Eater of Giant Stones! Nice to be back!

Whilst searching through my audio sketch's looking for a new project I found the riff that was to become this intro. My head had drums build up into something - but what was that something...

Back to 'happy length' for a song - simple song with straight piano, cello, french horn over a sprinkling of 'modified' Teleuke. So basically a mix of inside/outside the box production. Nice to get them all talking together for a change.
